This photo was unmarked in the James Album . I did not pay much attention to it until I started researching the Dalton gang. Seeing a photo of a grown Emmett Dalton I thought that this kid looked a lot like him. After some close comparison I concluded that this is a young teenage Emmett Dalton. He compared very well with a known image of an older Emmett Dalton as shown below.
We recently had some input regarding our photo of Emmett Dalton .

She pointed out that the pinky ring in our photograph of Emmett looks to be the same as the one he wore in later years.
